"AAU basketball helped me grow so much as a player. You have the opportunity to play with players who are at a higher skill level, grow with them as a team, and learn the importance of playing together. You learn not only from your coaches but from your teammates as well. AAU offers good exposure and helped me grow into the player that I am today, both on and off the court!"

  WELCOME TO MID-PENN MOTION

Welcome

Welcome to the Mid-Penn Motion AAU Basketball Club. The MPM was established in 1998 to provide an outlet for talented players to elevate their games during the scholastic off-season, by participating with and against others of similar talent and desire. As a charter member of the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU), the MPM teams consist of basketball players -- aged 10 to 17 from all areas of Central Pennsylvania -- that represent the local communities in the Central Pennsylvania area in regional and national tournaments held throughout the United States.

Participation on a MID-PENN MOTION team does not interfere with PIAA High School Basketball or any winter basketball league. Our teams start official practices in March and the season goes from then until June or July depending on the team.

MPM is pleased to recognize a generous grant from the G.B. STUART CHARITABLE FOUNDATION, (Carlisle, PA)  to assist in the mission of encouraging youth with an interest in playing competitive basketball a chance to compete and improve their skills as a member of the MPM AAU basketball club.
